Very excited about the new series beginning this week in Matthews - The Classics.
It's about the basic practices and disciplines of the life of a Christ-follower - how to lay a strong spiritual foundation that will help you through the highs, lows, and challenges of life, as well as unlock more joy than you dream possible. That will be cool.
But also cool will be the retro feel we will have. Let's just say it will involve lava lamps, beaded doorways, and more than a few classic rock posters...oh, and at least one 70s rock tune per week!
Great series to invite someone who thinks church is boring or predictable. And a great series to revisit the basics and torque your spiritual life a bit.
