Living Life Together... Next Level Style

At Next Level Church we are pretty big on the concept that to be a Christ follower means a lot more than simply agreeing with a certain set of core ideas or doctrines. While these ideas are important, we think that unless they play out in our day-to-day lives then they don't really mean a whole lot. That is why our three core values (the things that determine how we carry out our mission) are so active. Living Life Together. Giving Ourselves Away. Connecting Disconnected People.
So instead of just talking about Living Life Together, we thought let's get out there and do the hard work of making new friends and hanging out! And so the Memorial Day Weekend Picnic was born. I'm not gonna lie... This past Sunday was awesome!
First of all everybody was there together at one service. There were people everywhere. It was impossible to count but I would guess at least 500 in all. Then there were all those people being baptized. I think the last count was 49. Now like many of you, I do math on my fingers so I had to bust out the old "Windows Calculator" for this, but I'm pretty sure that almost 1 out of every 10 people were baptized for the first time! That is fifty people whose life God has changed through the people of Next Level Church. That is fifty people that your service, your generosity, your openness and friendliness, your willingness to do Whatever It Takes, God has used to reach people.
Go God! And we together as the people that make up Next Level Church have been used by God to change people's lives. It doesn't get much cooler than that. It doesn't get much more "worth it" than that. Thanks for being a church that Lives Life Together, that Gives Yourselves Away, that Connects Disconnected People to God and his church, and that knows how to party to God's glory on Memorial Day Weekend.
