New Song This Weekend (Kinda)

Wednesday, March 14, 2012
It can be easy get yourself locked into a routine. We do things over and over a certain way because it's comfortable, because we know it works. This is just as true in church as it is anywhere else.

Two worship songs.

Welcome.

Two more worship songs.

Special song.

Teaching.

Go home.

Sound familiar?

So we thought for this series, Passionate, we would mix things up just a little bit. What if we specifically set aside the whole back half of the service just for worship, just to respond to the truth of God's word? Not a new concept by any means; we are not reinventing the wheel here. It's just another way of doing things, and if you weren't there this last weekend, you missed out on something really cool.

This weekend should be more of the same. We are doing a song after the teaching that we haven't done on a weekend at Next Level Church yet because we couldn't seem to find a place for it to fit. It's this big, anthemic worship song that's all about the greatness of a God who saves. It was written out of a passage in Psalm 89.

I would love for you to listen to this song if you haven't yet, or maybe listen to it again if you have, and get ready for this weekend. I can't wait to sing it with you guys this weekend, at both campuses. Here it is... check it out!
