Yesterday, we wrapped up our series SUPERNATURAL by looking at Romans 8 and what it says about the battle for our mind - -will our mind be controlled by our sinful nature or by the Holy Spirit. It is, quite literally, a matter of life and death.
There's a quick way to get at where your mind is focused. A simple question:
What do you think about when you can think about anything?
When your mind is free to focus anywhere it wants to where does it focus?
What do you dream about? Long for? Fantasize about? Worry about?
A healthy mind focused on Jesus Christ as he is revealed in Scripture - crucified and risen.
An unhealthy mind focused on anything else.
Where is your mind focused?
