It is simply because we want to help YOU take the next step in your relationship with God by focusing on and living out His promises this week.
His promises are not like flimsy contracts. They can't be broken down in a court of law. They stand, they are unchanging, and they always will be.
Pretty cool, huh?
That is why it is even more awesome to hear that God has promised us that he will never leave you and never forsake you. (By the way, forsake means "to quit or leave entirely; abandon; desert". God says this in Deuteronomy 31 to the people of Israel.)
So God telling you here that no matter what, He is there. He is not gonna run out on you. He is not gonna leave you standing there looking stupid, wondering why He isn't around like some deadbeat Dad.
Does this mean that God always shows up in ways that we expect? Not exactly. But we can trust His promise to us that He never flees, that he never ditches out.
When you live your life understanding this promise, it opens up whole new doors to you, because you know that no matter how hopeless things look and no matter how alone you feel, God will NEVER leave you and NEVER forsake you.
